Housekeeping and Laundry Aide Role

As part of the Environmental Services team, you will execute effective laundry and housekeeping routines under established guidelines. Demonstrating strong organizational and communication skills is crucial, as is the flexibility to adapt your methods to meet evolving requirements. Your work will help enhance workplace safety and contribute to an excellent patient experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform cleaning tasks according to infection control guidelines

• Oversee laundry services, including sorting and folding

• Ensure efficiency of cleaning equipment and supplies

• Conduct cleanliness inspections before end of shifts

• Assist in departmental quality control initiatives

Requirements:

• Completion of Grade 9 education or related experience

• Proven problem-solving and decision-making skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong communication and organizational abilities

• Capability to respect patient confidentiality and diversity
