Head Custodian; PE

Brandon School Division is currently accepting applications for a Head Custodian (with 4th Class Power Engineering Certificate) at Crocus Plains Regional Secondary School.

Purpose of Position

The Head Custodian (with 4th Class Power Engineering) is responsible for overseeing and providing cleaning and maintenance services at Crocus Plains.

Duties and Responsibilities

Are established by the Supervisor of Custodial Services within the parameters of the job description .

Required Qualifications

• This position is required to sign off on legally completed hours and work experience by employees obtaining their 5th class power engineering certificate.
• Requires specific knowledge including the ability to maintain clean, healthy and safe facilities through the use of a variety of cleaning, maintenance and administrative skills.
• Class 5 Driver's License.
• WHMIS training/certification.
• Effective basic computer skills.
• Effective basic reading, writing and mathematical skills.
• Effective moderate interpersonal and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in commercial cleaning.
• First Aid, CPR Certification.
• Knowledge of Workplace Safety and Health regulations.
• Non-Violent Crisis Intervention.
