Plant Operator - Sand Plant

Operate self-propelled mining machines that rip coal, metal and nonmetal ores, rock, stone, or sand from the face and load it onto conveyors or into shuttle cars in a continuous operation. Schedule and timely delivery of aggregates, admixtures and supplies to plant. Perform servicing and maintenance. Work together with dispatcher on taking orders from customers. Operate mining equipment or machinery. Use hand or power tools and measuring devices in construction or extraction work.

Ability to work overtime during busy season.

Typical hours during production are M-F 7am-6pm. Typical hours during maintenance are M-Th 7am-5pm.
