Truss Assembler

Westman Building Components is a locally owned truss manufacturer serving residential, multi-family, and agricultural projects across Manitoba and Saskatchewan. We pride ourselves on quality workmanship, reliable production schedules, and a strong team-first shop culture.

We are currently seeking a Truss Builder to join our manufacturing team. This role involves the assembly of roof and floor trusses in a fast-paced production environment. Experience is an asset, but we are willing to train dependable individuals who are motivated to learn.

• Assemble roof and floor trusses according to shop drawings and layouts
• Use pneumatic nailers, hand tools, and shop equipment safely
• Read measurements and follow production instructions accurately
• Maintain quality control standards on all assemblies
• Keep a clean and organized work area
• Work efficiently to meet daily and weekly production targets
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies

• Experience in truss manufacturing, framing, or construction is an asset
• Ability to read basic drawings and use a tape measure accurately
• Physically capable of lifting materials and working on your feet
• Strong attention to detail and workmanship
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Willingness to learn and take direction
