Driveline Technician

The Driveline department is an important part of Atom-Jet's Machining division. This role is a key contributor to the department. The Driveline Technician is responsible for intaking driveline orders, repairing and fabricating drive lines, managing stock levels, and meeting customers' deadlines and quality requirements.

We are looking for an individual with a mechanical or fabrication background. Training in the technical specifics of this role will be provided through the onboarding process.

• Intake driveline orders
• Provide customers with accurate quotes and timelines
• Fabricate and repair drive lines
• Balance drive lines and rotating components
• Follow up with customers regarding pricing or timeline changes
• Support Machine Shop operations

• Experience:
  
  Fabrication or welding experience is required. Machining and mechanical experience would be an asset. All necessary training will be provided.
• Skills:
  
  Strong understanding of welding and fabrication principles. Ability to multitask, schedule, and manage deadlines. Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry heavy objects.
• Attributes:
  Self‑motivated individual with a positive attitude who works well on their own and in a team environment.
