Over Night Baker (Part-Time)

For our Bakery Department located in Brandon, MB

The Overnight Baker is responsible for preparing and baking a variety of products in accordance with company recipes and quality standards during overnight operations. This role ensures products are ready for daily operations by maintaining consistency, efficiency, and adherence to food safety standards. The Overnight Baker works independently with minimal supervision and plays a key role in delivering high-quality baked goods.

Schedule:
  • Part-time: 24-32 hours per week
  • Overnight shifts
  • Start times between 9:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.
  • Shift end times between 5:00 a.m. – 7:00 a.m.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and bake products according to company standards and recipes
  • Operate bakery equipment including proofer, ovens and bread slicer
  • Monitor proofing and baking times to ensure product quality and consistency
  • Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards throughout the shift
  • Work efficiently and responsibly with minimal supervision
Education:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous baking experience is considered an asset
  • Genuine interest and enthusiasm for baking
  • Dependable, reliable, and able to work independently

    Strong time management and attention to detail
  • Ability to work overnight hours and perform physical tasks associated with bakery production
