The position is temporary, requiring a 0.50 FTE commitment amidst various 12-hour shifts, seven days a week. The successful candidate will bring recent acute medical experience and advanced RPN skills, including assessment and emergency care techniques. Collaboration with a dedicated team and a compassionate patient-focused approach is essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide nursing care for Emergency patients
• Conduct patient registration during night shifts
• Assess patient conditions and perform evaluations
• Ensure stable transport for patients in need
• Maintain patient safety through advanced RPN skills
Requirements:
• Registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Evidence of recent acute medical experience
• Strong patient assessment skills
• Physically capable of heavy lifting
