Become a vital part of Sinai Health as a Wound Care Clinical Nurse Specialist. This temporary position focuses on providing expert care, supporting nursing staff, and enhancing outcomes for patients in Ontario.
As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you'll apply your advanced nursing skills to support patients with sophisticated wound needs, providing education and consultative services throughout the hospital. Your leadership will foster an inclusive environment that promotes continuous professional development and enhanced patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform thorough assessments of patients with complex wounds
• Design innovative learning strategies for caregivers
• Collaborate on clinical consultation for wound care challenges
• Guide integration of evidence-based practices into care
• Mentor nursing staff to uphold high care standards
Requirements:
• Active registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Master's in nursing or a related field
• Certification in wound care education is mandatory
• At least 3 years of clinical experience in wound care
• Preferred experience in advanced nursing roles
