As a Nurse IV, you will apply both nursing theory and public health principles to address various community health challenges. This role requires collaboration with individuals and organizations to promote health equity and effectively implement public health strategies that evolve in accordance with socio-cultural dynamics.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead assessments of community health needs and trends
• Advocate for health education and community engagement
• Implement and evaluate public health programs within communities
• Work collaboratively with health professionals on health initiatives
• Utilize data to inform health policy and practice decisions
Requirements:
• Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing
• Active licensing as a Registered Nurse in Manitoba
• Three years of recent Public Health Nursing experience
• Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)
• Strong organizational and communication skills
