In this nurse role, you will apply your knowledge of public health to conduct assessments and deliver programs aimed at enhancing health equity across populations. Candidates should possess a Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing and three years of relevant experience along with a valid Manitoba nursing license. Strong decision-making and organizational skills, along with familiarity with nursing principles, are vital.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform community health assessments and analyses
• Develop and implement public health initiatives
• Educate clients and communities on health best practices
• Work with interdisciplinary teams to improve care outcomes
• Advocate for cultural competency in health services
Requirements:
• Minimum three years of Public Health Nursing experience
• Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing required
• Active nursing licensure in Manitoba
• Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)
• Possession of valid Class 5 Drivers License
