This role requires active practicing licensure with the College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of Manitoba. The Nurse II will bring at least one year of full-time experience in a mental health setting, alongside skills in crisis intervention and clinical decision-making. Success in this position involves demonstrating problem-solving abilities and effective communication with clients and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients and clients
• Adhere to established standards, policies, and procedures
• Maintain competency in line with PMH requirements
• Utilize the Regulated Health Professions Act as needed
• Carry out other duties as assigned
Requirements:
• Current nursing licensure with CRPNM
• Basic Cardiac Life Support training
• Experience in a mental health setting
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Valid Manitoba Class 5 Driver's License
Support mental health initiatives and uphold professional standards as a Nurse II in Manitoba.
