Position: Part-Time Registered Nurse at Extendicare

As a Registered Nurse, you will report to the Director of Health and Wellness and directly impact residents' lives. This role requires effective care assessments, medication administration, and close coordination with interdisciplinary teams. You will also supervise care provided by unregulated staff, ensuring high-quality service aligns with Extendicare’s standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete care assessments and service plans for residents

• Administer medications following regulatory guidelines

• Supervise unregulated care providers in patient care

• Coordinate comprehensive care plans with interdisciplinary teams

• Respond to resident emergencies and manage concerns

Requirements:

• Current RN registration in province/state

• Experience with seniors and unregulated care providers

• Strong skills in care coordination and communication

• Competence in Microsoft Office applications

• Recent Vulnerable Position/Sector Screening (VPS)
