Location: Stockton
Enhance your nursing skills at Bio Life Plasma Services as a Medical Support Specialist in Stockton, California. This role focuses on donor safety and health assessments within the plasma donation process.
In this nursing position, you’ll evaluate donor eligibility, manage medical emergencies, and implement vaccination programs, working closely with the Center Manager and Physician. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring that health standards are maintained while addressing donor needs effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct donor eligibility assessments and interviews
• Manage medical emergencies according to SOPs
• Consult with medical staff regarding donor safety
• Support vaccination efforts for employees and donors
• Act as Pandemic Coordinator during health threats
Requirements:
• RN, NP, or PA license actively held in state
• Current CPR and AED certification
• Completion of required IV therapy training
• Minimum two years in a clinical environment
• Successful completion of FDA training for the position
