Bilingual Research Assistant IV Position

Join the Department of History at Brandon University as a Research Assistant IV. This role requires fluency in English and Spanish, offering 10 hours per week and flexibility.

Brandon University is seeking a motivated Research Assistant IV for a critical research project from July 15, 2026, to December 31, 2026. You'll assist with participant interviews, translating and transcribing discussions as part of our dedicated research team. Preference will be given to candidates pursuing or holding a Master’s degree alongside prior experience with research data.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct participant interviews effectively

• Translate and transcribe interview content

• Organize and manage research data independently

• Ensure detail-oriented and accurate data handling

• Maintain flexibility in schedule to meet project needs

Requirements:

• Fluent in English and Spanish, orally and written

• Organized with strong attention to detail

• Capable of working independently

• Previous experience with research data handling
