Position: Cytotechnologist Clinical Role - Shared Health
Take on a pivotal Cytotechnologist position at Shared Health’s Westman Laboratory in Brandon, conducting essential cytological assessments in a full-time, in-person setting. This role is temporary, spanning from July 2026 to January 2028 due to maternity leave.

As a key member of the cytology department, you will carry out cytology tests and manage specimen processing while upholding stringent quality and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, with effective analytical skills and experience in a laboratory environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive cytology testing processes

• Manage and process various specimen samples

• Accurately report cytology testing results

• Complete tasks following specific oral and written instructions

• Safeguard confidential patient information

Requirements:

• Graduate of a recognized cytotechnology training program

• Certification from C.S.M.L.S. required

• Must possess current CMLTM licensing

• Preferred registration with CSMLS

• Effective communication skills in English
