Key Duties:
This project is part of a larger SSHRC-funded project on Age-Friendly Communities in Manitoba. Duties for this position will include: assist in preparing research materials; assist with data collection/analysis; assist with preparing presentations and other creative outputs; and maintain communications and outreach to research partners. Tasks will also include other relevant duties, as assigned.

Qualifications/

Experience:


Ability to work well independently with minimal supervision and have excellent organizational skills. Strong abilities in writing and communication. Ideal candidates will be upper-level undergraduates (4th yr +). Experience with communicating information to various audiences via written or visual formats is an asset. Ideally, the candidate will possess strong problem‑solving skills and be self‑motivated, have the ability to work independently and with others effectively, and have the ability to uphold high standards of confidentiality and research integrity.

This project involves working with grandmothers and women (Indigenous and Non‑Indigenous); identifying as an Indigenous woman (First Nations, Red River Métis, or Inuk) is an asset. Completion of TCPS‑2: CORE ethics.
