As a Starbucks barista, you’ll create the Starbucks Experience for our customers through excellent service and expertly crafted products. You’ll be in an energetic store environment where you’ll master your food & beverage craft, work alongside friends and meet new people every day. A cup of coffee and a smile can go a long way, and we believe our baristas have the power to be the best moment in each customer’s day.

• Provide excellent customer service and create a positive customer experience.
• Prepare and serve beverages and food to standard recipes, including customized requests.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure store safety and security.
• Handle cash and operate in a fast-paced, energetic environment.
• Support team collaboration and communicate effectively with customers and teammates.

• Consider yourself a “people person” and enjoy meeting others.
• Love working as a team and collaborating with others.
• Understand how to create a great customer service experience.
• Focus on quality and take pride in your work.
• Are open to learning new things (especially the latest beverage recipe).

• Basic Qualifications:
  • Maintain regular attendance and punctuality with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Available to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays.
  • Meet store operating policies and standards, including quality beverages and food, cash handling, and store safety and security.
  • Engage with customers to understand and respond to needs with clear and pleasant communication.
  • Prepare beverages and foods to standard recipes or customize as requested.
  • Able to perform various tasks within the store during each shift.
• Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Ability to learn quickly.
  • Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions and ask for clarification as needed.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to build relationships with customers and colleagues.
