Job OverviewThe Retail Sales Associate, under the direction of the Retail Experience Lead, is primarily responsible for greeting customers and providing guidance on where they may find items within the store. The Retail Sales Associate understands their role as brand ambassador and provides positive brand experiences to all customers. Retail Sales Associates will generate sales, advise customers on the use and care of merchandise, and provide advice concerning specialized products and accessories.
This role will participate in merchandising and promotional activities and must always maintain a high level of customer service.
- Experience in retail sales preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Excellent customer service skills, interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Motivated and creative team player.
- Strong knowledge of retail sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques.
- Ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers.

- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
- High level of integrity and work ethic.
- Greet customers and provide guidance on where they may find items within the store.
- Provide award-winning customer service; build quality relationships with customers, suggest new services, and remind them of upcoming events.
- Advise customers on the use and care of accessories and provide advice concerning specialized products or services.
- Participate in merchandising and promotional activities.
- Maintain a high level of customer service.
- Assist with setting up merchandise displays.
- Work in partnership with store managers and other employees to maximize store sales and in-store presence.
- Ensure accuracy in all transactions, inventory, and procedures.
- Participate in all manner of store maintenance.
- Maintain a high level of product knowledge.
- Maintain a professional appearance, demeanor, and attitude always.
- Performs other duties as required.

- Experience in the retail industry preferred.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Clear criminal record.
- Provincial Cannabis Certification.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift 25 pounds.
- Overtime as required.
