Casual Security Guards

Overview

Paladin Security is hiring a Security Officer. We’re looking for a dedicated and reliable full‑time security guard to join our team. If you take pride in protecting people and property, we want to meet you!

• Hourly Rate: $16 to $17/hour
• Schedule:
  
  Mornings, Evening, Overnights and Weekends
• Status:
  Full‑time

• Patrol the site by foot or vehicle to ensure safety and prevent unauthorized access.
• Enforce rules, control access points, and de‑escalate situations with professionalism.
• Respond to emergencies, including intoxication, aggression, or medical incidents.
• Provide exceptional customer service to the public.
• Communicate via two‑way radio and write detailed reports on incidents and daily activity.

• At least 19 years of age.
• First Aid & CPR Level C certification (CSA‑approved provider).
• Comfortable with physical duties: standing, walking, sitting for extended periods, and working in extreme weather conditions.
• English fluency (written and spoken).
• MOAB Certification – or willingness to complete company‑sponsored training prior to onboarding.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Legally authorized to work in Canada.

Grade 12 or GED equivalent.

First Aid, CPR Level C and a valid Manitoba Security Guard License.
