Position: Security Guard (Overnight )

Under the direct supervision of the General Manager, Outlet Manager, or Guest Services Manager, the Security & Maintenance Associate provides overnight operational support to ensure guest safety, property security, and timely resolution of technical issues.

Responsibilities
  • Provide security, maintenance and operational support overnight (11:00PM – 7:00AM) to ensure guest safety, property security, and timely resolution of technical issues.
  • Support Night Audit staff, including assisting with cash‑outs, deposits, and assuming Night Auditor duties as required.
  • Patrol the property, conduct resident walk‑arounds, and monitor crowd management in Tavern United and Play makers; oversee parking lot checks and snow‑removal logs.
  • Respond promptly to guest room and emergency situations, assist with accidents, conduct investigations, gather information, and prepare reports for management.
  • Verify guest identification, enforce legal age and responsible service guidelines, screen with metal detectors, perform consent pat‑downs/purse searches, and record any confiscated items.
  • Notify management of serious incidents, coordinate with outside agencies, and resolve disputes quietly and efficiently.
  • Maintain logs for snow removal, sanding, and other safety‑related activities during winter conditions.
Qualifications
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; articulate and able to provide clear reports.
  • Valid MB Security Guard License and Criminal Background Check; certifications such as Smart Choice, First Aid, CPR.
  • Excellent attention to detail, ability to multi‑task, positive attitude, and willingness to learn and follow direction.
  • Experience in a club or hotel setting is an asset; knowledge of LGCA regulations and hotel procedures.
  • Calm, professional demeanor when working with the public; ability to handle conflict and resolve problems efficiently.
