Pursue a rewarding career as a Firefighter Lieutenant in the City of Brandon. This permanent position engages in firefighting duties and leadership within a committed team.
As part of the City of Brandon’s firefighting team, the Lieutenant will play a critical role in emergency response efforts. Applicants must have a Registered Apprenticeship certificate and between 1 to 2 years of practical experience. This full-time role consists of 40 hours each week and requires readiness for shifts and on-call assignments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage firefighting personnel during emergencies
• Direct operational activities and ensure safety measures
• Train and support new firefighters in technical skills
• Maintain firefighting tools and vehicles
• Liaise with emergency service partners when required
Requirements:
• Completion of a Registered Apprenticeship certificate
• 1-2 years of experience in firefighting
• Availability for regular shifts or on-call duties
• Strong leadership abilities in high-pressure situations
• Good physical condition for firefighting tasks
Contribute to public safety as a Firefighter Lieutenant in Brandon.
