We are currently accepting applications for casual/on-call Event Security Guards in Brandon. Shifts are typically mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays – perfect for those seeking supplemental income or flexible scheduling.
What You Will Do- Provide outstanding customer service with a professional presence.
- Monitor crowds and respond quickly to disturbances or unsafe conditions.
- Support VIPs, performers, and event staff with secure escorts.
- Assist with lost children, medical emergencies, and ejections when required.
- Complete detailed and accurate incident reports as needed.
- Maintain strong communication via radio and follow supervisor instructions.
- Work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment where no two events are the same!
- Enjoy interacting with the public and providing friendly, professional service.
- Have strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Can remain calm and think clearly under pressure.
- Are a team player who thrives in high-energy, changing environments.
- Hold a valid Manitoba Security Guard License (or are willing to obtain).
- Have First Aid/CPR certification (preferred, or willing to obtain).
- Are 18 years of age or older and legally eligible to work in Canada
- . Ability to legally work in Canada
- Previous event or crowd management experience.
- De-escalation training (MOAB or equivalent).
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
