Enhance safety and security with Prairie Mountain Health as a licensed Security Officer in Manitoba. This role supports a safe environment by managing threats and responding to emergencies.
As a Security Officer, you will utilize your licensure and training to maintain safety tical responsibilities include monitoring for safety threats, working with law enforcement, and providing training to security staff. Your expertise in crisis management and communication will ensure a supportive atmosphere for clients and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain a protective presence within health facilities
• Respond to threats to safety at PMH sites
• De-escalate hostile situations using training
• Evict unauthorized individuals diplomatically
• Conduct regular patrols inside and outside facilities
Requirements:
• Grade 12 education or equivalent
• Licensed Security Officer in Manitoba
• Class 5 Drivers Licence and access to a vehicle
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Strong judgment and decision-making skills
Ensure client safety and foster a secure environment through effective management, crisis intervention, and communication in this essential role.
