Become a vital part of AgWest as a Training Coordinator focusing on safety across its Manitoba and Saskatchewan branches. This position emphasizes improving safety culture through effective training programs.
As a Training Coordinator, you'll develop comprehensive training initiatives that equip employees with essential safety skills and knowledge. Your collaboration with leadership will help identify training needs and promote continuous improvement, contributing to a better working environment for all.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and implement onboarding and training programs
• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections
• Deliver training on equipment, safety, and service standards
• Track employee training progress and certifications
• Support compliance with health and safety regulations
Requirements:
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in training or safety
• Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety is a plus
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and training management systems
• Valid driver's license for inter-branch travel
