Position: Prairie Mountain Health Security Officer Role

As part of the healthcare security team, you will play a key role in ensuring the well-being of patients, staff, and visitors. Your mandatory Qualified Persons training will equip you with the skills needed for effective crisis management. This position also emphasizes proactive communication and collaboration with healthcare professionals to de-escalate conflicts peacefully.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain physical security presence in health facilities

• Escort at-risk individuals for care purposes

• Support training and orientation for staff

• Engage with law enforcement as necessary

• Monitor security systems and reports incidents

Requirements:

• One year of experience as a Security Patrol Officer

• Valid certifications and licenses required in Manitoba

• Proficiency with computer applications

• Capable of heavy lifting and physical activity

• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
