As a Security Agent with Paladin Security, you play a vital role in protecting public and government facilities while serving as a reassuring, helpful presence in the community. Pay Rate: $16.40 - $17.00 per hour

In this role, success means balance—combining keen observational skills with a welcoming, customer-focused approach. On a day-to-day basis, you will:

Provide a visible, professional, and approachable safety presence across indoor and outdoor property areas.

Perform routine foot patrols, standing posts, or stationary monitoring in various weather conditions.

Interact respectfully and compassionately with diverse groups, including families, children, and vulnerable community members.

Use conflict resolution and de-escalation techniques to resolve tense situations calmly.

Write clear, detailed, accurate incident reports and log shift activity using basic computer software.

Collaborate closely with site managers, team members, and client representatives.

High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Valid Class 5 Driver's License with a clean driving record.

Legal authorization to work in Canada.

Strong written communication skills for completing clear incident reports.

Basic computer literacy and comfort with data entry.

Physical capability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods during shift duties.

Comfort working outdoors in changing weather conditions.

Proven ability to communicate respectfully with individuals from diverse cultural, religious, and socioeconomic backgrounds.

Valid Manitoba Security Guard License (guidance can be provided for eligible candidates).

Prior experience in customer service, hospitality, security, or community service roles.

Valid First Aid / CPR certification.
