Take on the role of Client Services Worker at the Manitoba Métis Federation in Brandon, MB, supporting clients with employment assistance and training program information. This full-time position includes intake interviews and job search aid.
Working within the Métis Employment and Training Department, you will assess clients' employment needs through interviews and provide essential referrals. Your efforts in promoting MET programs will empower clients to access valuable information and resources. This is an 18-month term position, contributing to the Red River Métis community's development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform intake application processes with clients
• Refer clients for specialized employment discussions
• Help clients draft resumes and job applications
• Monitor labour market trends and job postings
• Educate clients on MET programs and policies
Requirements:
• At least 2 years of experience in administration
• Relevant post-secondary educational background
• Proficiency in managing databases
• Ability to maintain diverse working relationships
• Valid Manitoba Driver's license and access to a car
