Join the mission at Adult & Teen Challenge of Central Canada as a Support Staff for the Women's Recovery Program in Thunder Bay, ON. This full-time role enhances recovery support through structure and daily client assistance.
In this critical position, you'll offer direct supervision and ensure a safe environment for clients undergoing addiction recovery. Key skills such as integrity, servant leadership, and strong communication are essential as you help maintain a positive atmosphere.
Your role is integral to the smooth operation of daily activities, including support for classes, meal coordination, and transportation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise clients, ensuring program structure during shifts
• Support clients in maintaining healthy routines and accountability
• Report any behavioral or emotional concerns promptly
• Assist in organizing daily activities and transitions
• Conduct room and facility checks to ensure safety
Requirements:
• Education in addiction services or related fields preferred
• Experience in recovery or residential care is beneficial
• Valid driver’s license required
• Current First Aid Certification is an asset
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to maintain structure
