Addiction Support Staff

Position: Full-Time Addiction Support Staff Needed
Make a difference in recovery with Adult & Teen Challenge of Central Canada as a Full-Time Addiction Support Staff based in Thunder Bay, ON. This role focuses on providing safety and structure for those in recovery.

You will play a crucial role in overseeing clients and supporting their daily recovery process. In a faith-based setting, your actions reflect core values of integrity and servant leadership. Your responsibilities include managing daily operations and facilitating activities that build a supportive recovery environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise clients and promote respectful behavior

• Organize campus activities and assist with daily logistics

• Conduct safety checks and report concerns as necessary

• Engage in spiritual mentorship and facilitate support groups

• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and campus order

Requirements:

• Relevant education in ministry or social work preferred

• Experience with addiction services or in a residential setting is a plus

• Valid driver’s license may be required

• Current First Aid Certification is helpful

• Strong communication and leadership abilities are essential
