Position: Brandon Overnight Support Mentor Role
Become an Overnight Drop-In Support Mentor with Life's Journey Inc. in Brandon, MB. This casual term position involves direct participant support at the Overnight Warming Shelter from 7:30 PM to 7:30 AM.

You will play an essential role in fostering positive relationships and providing necessary assistance to individuals seeking shelter. Responsibilities include implementing safety protocols, responding to emergencies, and overseeing daily tasks to ensure comfort and compliance with policies. This position requires collaboration with the Participant Care Team to deliver effective support during shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver support to participants in the overnight warming program

• Supervise risk areas in line with support plans

• Conduct general cleaning and maintenance tasks

• Communicate effectively with team and external agencies

• Record daily shift activities accurately

Requirements:

• Valid background checks and Class 5F Driver’s License

• Possess First Aid Level 1 and CPR training

• Ability to maintain health and safety policies

• Experience in social services preferred

• Strong skills in communication and relationship-building
