Position: Overnight Support Mentor at Life's Journey
Become a key player in supporting individuals at Life's Journey Inc. as an Overnight Drop-In Support Mentor in Brandon, MB. Engage directly with participants in a warm shelter environment, providing essential support and guidance.

This casual position for 6 months requires a dedicated individual to assist those accessing the Overnight Warming Shelter. You will work collaboratively with the Participant Care Team to ensure a safe and supportive atmosphere. Key responsibilities involve monitoring activities, managing emergency situations, and fostering positive relationships with participants.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide immediate support to warming shelter participants

• Build positive relationships through effective communication

• Assist during crisis situations with appropriate responses

• Ensure safety measures are consistently followed

• Document daily occurrences with accuracy

Requirements:

• Satisfactory Child and Adult Abuse Registry check

• Certification in First Aid Level 1 & CPR

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Ability to work effectively in a team setting

• Minimum one year experience in relevant role preferred
