Youth Recovery Life Skills Coach

Empower youth in recovery as a Life Skills Coach with Westman Youth For Christ. This full-time role focuses on housing support, personal growth, and mentorship within a faith-based framework.

As a Common Spaces Life Skills Coach, you will engage with youth facing addiction and aid them in achieving their developmental goals. Your work will include supporting housing placements, teaching life skills, and fostering relationships through mentoring. Collaborating closely with the Common Spaces team, you will lead initiatives that align with both spiritual and personal development for the youth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build rapport through daily door knocking

• Manage personalized development and housing plans

• Supervise youth in casual work opportunities

• Ensure accurate records in HIFIS system

• Participate in community fundraising events

Requirements:

• Experience with youth mentorship or social work

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills

• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle

• Knowledge of diverse cultures and urban challenges

• Completion of background checks is mandatory
