Become the House Lead with Life’s Journey Inc. in Patmore, Brandon, MB. This full-time position focuses on maintaining a safe environment and directly supporting residential program participants.
The House Lead plays a crucial role in the Westman Services program, ensuring the safety and well-being of residents. You will engage in planning, monitoring, and communication, ensuring adherence to each participant’s program documents. The role requires collaboration with the Residential Care Team and provides mentorship to support mentors within the program.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain a safe home environment for participants
• Participate in ongoing planning of individual programs
• Provide training and mentorship for support mentors
• Manage documentation and communication effectively
• Collaborate with the Residential Care Team to achieve goals
Requirements:
• Three years’ experience in a related role
• Understanding of mental health support and disabilities
• First Aid Level 1 certification required
• Satisfactory background checks and driving capability
• Cultural competence and willingness to learn
