The Southwest Regional Office is seeking multiple full-time Transitional Support Workers for the Women Safe House – Housing First Program. This role involves assisting clients with daily activities, promoting independence through life skill development, and documenting client details in the HIFIS system. Applicants who identify as Kookum’s or Auntie’s are especially encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist clients with daily living and activities
• Support individuals in breaking barriers to independence
• Enter client notes accurately in HIFIS system
• Monitor client activities and external visits
• Document, report, and complete administrative duties
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience in mental health and addictions support
• Strong communication skills for diverse interactions
• Basic knowledge of HIFIS systems or similar
• Valid Manitoba Driver’s license with access to a vehicle
