Join a dynamic team as a Senior Android Engineer focusing on Shopper Activation and Engagement in Canada. You'll develop features that significantly enhance user experiences on a consumer platform.
This role encompasses building Android features that drive shopper interaction, retention, and overall satisfaction. You will lead the development cycle from design to release while working hand-in-hand with Product, Design, and Data Science teams. Ideal candidates are those with extensive experience in mobile engineering and a knack for solving challenging problems in high-scale environments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create and implement robust Android features utilizing Kotlin
• Oversee feature development from inception to iteration
• Collaborate to set success metrics and conduct data experiments
• Optimize app architecture for stability and scalability
• Ensure security and privacy in all user-facing experiences
Requirements:
• 5+ years in professional Android development with Kotlin
• Experience with building consumer-scale mobile applications
• Proficient in RxJava, Dagger, and Jetpack Compose
• Familiar with analytics tools and metrics-driven development
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
