Become a Linehaul Class 1 Driver at Gardewine in Dauphin, Manitoba, focusing on efficient freight delivery and customer satisfaction. Deliver both temperature-controlled and dry freight safely.
This position involves a physically demanding schedule primarily on weekdays, ensuring deliveries to nearby communities. Responsibilities include freight handling tasks, such as tailgate work and hand bombing. Join a team that has made safety a priority for decades in the logistics industry.
Key Responsibilities:
• Complete freight deliveries from terminal to community
• Execute tailgate deliveries and freight handling tasks
• Operate both manual and automatic tractors
• Provide strong customer service on all runs
• Work independently while adhering to safety protocols
Requirements:
• Valid Class 1 driver's license with airbrake endorsement
• Demonstrated experience in freight handling
• Ability to work self-sufficiently and professionally
• Strong focus on safety during operations
• Familiarity with various delivery procedures
