Class 1 Professional Truck Driver

About the position

KAG Canada is looking for Class 1 Drivers to join our team based out of Brandon, MB.

70/36. Sleep on the road during the week. Willing to reset on the road.

This position requires the candidate to safely operate, drive and maintain an Automatic Transmission Class 1 unit, such as a Super B hopper trailer.

• Class 1/AZ License with a minimum of 2 years of recent highway experience.
• Super B/LCV experience, tanker and off-road experience are a strong asset.
• On-site drug and alcohol screen, job abilities assessment, and company paid criminal record search.

New Hire Multi Commodity Assignment

• Total Base Rate: $31.00
• Premium based on assignment: $1.90
• Good – based on a 55 hour week: $0.99
• Attendance Bonus – hourly equivalent earnings for a full attendance bonus at 5.77%: $1.96
• Total pay for regular hours: $35.85
• Plus $2.35 for hours between 10 PM – 5 AM local time and on weekends.

• Minimum 2+ years Class 1 tractor trailer driving experience in Canada and the US.
• Previous Super-B / LCV experience.

• Bonus opportunity.
• Paid ($29.45/hour) on-the-job training will be provided to all employees.
