Equipment Operator and Class 1 Driver

Take on an exciting dual role as an Equipment Operator and Class 1 Driver in Brandon, Manitoba. This position combines driving trucks with operating heavy machinery in a vibrant outdoor setting.

As a vital member of our team, you will have a Class 1 Driver’s License and two years of relevant experience. Your key tasks will involve hauling, sorting, and processing scrap metal using various trucks and equipment like loaders and forklifts. You’ll also complete pre-trip inspections and ensure a safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive roll-off, Super-B, and demo box trailers

• Sort and process scrap metal materials safely

• Operate excavators and skid steers for efficient movement

• Conduct inspections and minor maintenance on equipment

• Provide assistance with labor-intensive site tasks

Requirements:

• Must hold a valid Class 1A Driver’s License

• At least 2 years of heavy equipment experience

• Physically capable of lifting 75 lbs

• Strong safety awareness and work ethic

• Experience in the recycling industry is a plus
