Join Brandon School Division as a School Bus Driver and Maintenance Worker III. This role combines safe student transportation with essential maintenance tasks in a collaborative environment.

As a School Bus Driver/Maintenance Worker III, you'll ensure students are safely transported to schools and events. The position includes responsibilities in maintenance, focusing on carpentry, plumbing, and HVAC while upholding required qualifications such as a valid Class 5 Driver's License. You will also assist in maintaining the facilities and equipment essential for daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely transport students from pick-up points to school

• Assist in maintenance activities including electrical and plumbing tasks

• Follow established safety protocols and work methods

• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections on facilities

• Manage time effectively to meet operational needs

Requirements:

• Valid Class 5 and willingness to obtain Class 2 Driver's License

• School Bus Operator’s Certificate or willingness to obtain

• Knowledge in maintenance and technical skills

• WHMIS training/certification

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
