Become a Class 1 Company Driver with Steve's Livestock Transport and transport livestock across Manitoba. This position offers a strong support team and a consistent schedule.
Working with Steve's Livestock Transport means joining a dedicated team in their Livestock Division. The Class 1 Company Driver primarily drives regional lanes, with routes within Manitoba and occasional work in Saskatchewan and Alberta. You will enjoy a schedule of Monday to Friday or Sunday to Thursday, with only one weekend to work per month.
Key Responsibilities:
• Drive regional lanes transporting livestock
• Manage a mix of livestock commodities including pigs and cattle
• Sleep in the truck for 1-3 nights each week
• Collaborate with dispatch for route efficiency
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations
Requirements:
• Must possess a valid Class 1 driver’s license
• Prior experience with livestock transportation is a plus
• Strong communication skills for team coordination
• Ready to adapt to a flexible driving schedule
• Focused on maintaining high safety standards
