Role Details
  • Work Location – Brandon
  • Shift/Hours or Hybrid Environment – Monday to Friday, Days. Flexibility required.
  • The full base salary range for this position is from $73,000 - $81,000 annually. The starting base salary offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, role complexity, skills, experience, and internal equity.
  • This role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.

About This Opportunity

Reporting to the Distribution Centre Manager, the Supervisor Distribution Warehouse is responsible for overseeing a team of Coke Canada drivers and warehouse employees. They ensure the products are properly received, stored, and effectively distributed to our customers. The Supervisor works as a coach and mentor to their team. To succeed in this position, the Supervisor must be capable of planning the workload, motivating their team, and offering great customer service.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise a team of distribution and warehouse employees, while respecting budgetary constraints.
  • Maintain a safe work environment to enforce health and safety policies and regulations in the workplace.
  • Staff, train, coach, evaluate and develop team members.
  • Oversee the storage, as well as the shipping and receiving of goods.
  • Ensure adherence to delivery standards, efficiencies and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage drivers' delivery schedule and hours worked.
  • Establish and maintain positive customer relationships, resolving customer issues.
  • Serve as liaison between sales, distribution and warehouse to maintain efficient communication between functions.
  • Manage and audit team member's timekeeping.
  • Manage within labor and OPEX budget.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or post-secondary education in a related field, or experience deemed equivalent is required.
  • 1-3 years' experience in consumer products/direct store delivery required.
  • 1-3 years supervisory experience required.
  • Prior experience in distribution, retail, or warehouse required. Beverage industry is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations.
  • Experience with MS Office and SAP computer tools.
  • Experience managing in a unionized environment is preferred.
  • Ability to make sound choices and recommendations based on analytical evaluations.
  • Ability to provide leadership, motivation, and training for development of the distribution team.
  • Ability to cultivate, manage and foster a diverse team of employees.
  • Ability to initiate activities and perform duties without direct supervision.
  • Possess excellent organization and time-management skills.
