Yard Attendant at South End Lumber

Become a Yard Attendant with South End Lumber Timber Mart, where you will ensure smooth operations in our building material yard. Load and unload materials, provide customer service, and maintain yard organization.

As a Yard Attendant, you will manage the daily operation at the South End Lumber yard.

Your role involves loading deliveries, receiving materials from vendors, and ensuring a clean and safe working environment. Excellent customer service and teamwork are essential as you assist clients with their orders and support their needs throughout their visit.

Key Responsibilities:

• Load and unload materials for deliveries

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the yard

• Provide friendly service to customers on-site

• Manage inventory and stock building materials

• Operate forklifts and equipment safely

Requirements:

• Physical fitness to handle materials up to 100 lbs

• Valid Class 5 driver's licence required

• Excellent communication skills in English

• Forklift certification a plus (training available)

• Ability to work Saturdays on a rotating schedule
