Senior Client Billing Specialist
Location: Remote 4 days, in-office 1 day Greater Tampa area

About the Opportunity
Vaco is seeking a Senior Client Billing Specialist to support a growing, fast-paced legal team. This is a great opportunity to contribute to the success of the firm by managing complex billing processes and supporting key client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate and process client invoices
• Ensure invoices comply with client-specific outside counsel guidelines
• Submit ebills
• Manage full billing cycle from invoice generation to approval and payment
• Respond to attorney and secretary requests by editing and reviewing pre-bills
• Research and resolve billing issues or discrepancies with clients and attorneys
• Process a high volume of complex legal bills accurately and on time
• Collaborate with the Collections team on outstanding invoices
• Provide ad hoc billing reports and support attorney billing needs

• 5+ years of legal billing or ebilling experience, preferably in a law firm
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Windows-based software
• Understanding of revenue cycle processes, including accounts payable and tools like Chrome River
• Experience with Aderant, Elite, eBilling Hub , or Bill Blast preferred

• Bachelor's degree required (Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred)
• Equivalent legal billing experience may be considered in lieu of degree
