Summary
:
The Resource Teacher, District, will provide technical assistance, curriculum support, and training to school and district staff.

QUALIFICATIONS
:
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required to perform this job successfully.

• Education
  : A master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders (preferred) or bachelor’s degree and be currently enrolled in an accredited graduate program in Communication Sciences and Disorders.
• Certificates/Licenses/Registrations
  :
  Florida Department of Health License in Speech Language Pathology or Florida Educator Certificate in Speech Language Impaired K-12. American Speech Language-Hearing Association Certificate of Clinical Competence preferred.

Responsibilities
:
Demonstrates a strong working knowledge of best practices in specified content area, develops and conducts professional development, provides coaching, conducts data conferences, models effective teaching techniques, assists in developing model lesson plans and curriculum development, and meets regularly with building administrators.

Other Information
:
Communication, Job Knowledge, Judgment, Planning & Organization, and Project Management skills are required.

Physical Demands
:
Standing, walking, sitting, handling, keyboarding, talking, and hearing. Lifting demands:
Up to 10 pounds.
