We’re seeking a Project Engineer – Mechanical or Plumbing Design to join our Jacksonville team. In this role, you’ll lead and support the design and implementation of mechanical and plumbing systems for a variety of building and infrastructure projects. You’ll apply your engineering expertise, mentor junior staff, and contribute to project excellence and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities- Lead the design and development of mechanical and plumbing systems from planning through construction.
- Perform and review engineering calculations, reports, and construction documents with accountability for quality and accuracy.
- Manage technical tasks, monitor project scope, schedule, and budget, and coordinate deliverables with internal teams and external partners.
- Conduct field investigations, site visits, and construction observations to ensure design intent and compliance.
- Serve as a client contact, leading meetings and communicating project updates with professionalism and sound judgment.
- Mentor junior engineers and technical staff, providing guidance and review of design work.
- Utilize software tools such as Microsoft Office, CAD, BIM, and modeling platforms to produce design deliverables.
- Bachelor’s degree from an ABET-accredited program in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- 4+ years of post‑graduate engineering experience, preferably in mechanical or plumbing design.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Florida required; multi‑state licensure may be beneficial.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CAD, BIM, and relevant modeling or analysis software.
- Strong technical writing, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead project components and coordinate multidisciplinary efforts.
- Effective mentoring, time management, and organizational skills.

Salary ranges from $79,081 to $126,529 per year, commensurate with experience.
