Dementia Care Experienced Caregiver

Cornerstone Caregiving is looking for committed, dependable, and experienced HHA/CNAs who have a genuine passion for caring for seniors, particularly those living with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia.

We are looking for caregivers who understand that memory care requires more than completing daily tasks. You should be comfortable with behaviors such as confusion, repetition, agitation, wandering, resistance to care, and changes in mood or behavior while remaining patient, calm, and compassionate.

• At least 1 year of professional in-home caregiving experience
• Previous hands-on experience caring for clients with Alzheimer’s and/or dementia
• Valid in-person CPR certification
• Must pass a Level 2 background screening with an “Eligible” result
• HHA or CNA preferred
• Dependable transportation and reliable attendance
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and the Cornerstone team

• Personal care and hygiene, memory care and redirection, transfers and mobility assistance, meal preparation, companionship, medication reminders, light housekeeping, couples care, safety supervision, and other support based on each client’s individual needs.
