Network Architect

Sirius Staffing is seeking an experienced Network Architect to design, implement, and oversee enterprise network infrastructure in Brandon, FL.

Position Summary :
This position is responsible for developing secure, scalable, and reliable network architectures that align with business objectives, technology strategies, and regulatory requirements.

• Design and implement enterprise network architecture, including LAN/WAN, routing, switching, wireless networks, and cloud connectivity.
• Architect network solutions involving TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, OSPF, BGP, and ISP connectivity.
• Design and support site-to-site VPNs, load balancing, forward/reverse proxies, and hyperconverged infrastructure.
• Implement network security controls, including Network Access Control (NAC), ACLs, network segmentation, DMZ architecture, and intrusion detection systems.
• Develop secure network architectures using zero-trust security principles.
• Provide network architecture and design support for enterprise technology projects.
• Ensure network designs comply with applicable security and regulatory standards.
• Support network automation, infrastructure improvements, and architectural documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and business teams to deliver reliable network solutions.
• Provide technical leadership, troubleshooting expertise, and architectural recommendations.

• Minimum 5 years of network architecture experience.
• Strong experience designing and implementing enterprise LAN/WAN networks.
• Advanced knowledge of routing, switching, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, OSPF, and BGP.
• Experience with network security, including NAC, segmentation, ACLs, DMZs, and zero-trust architecture.
• Experience with VPNs, proxies, wireless networking, load balancing, and cloud networking.
• Knowledge of network infrastructure automation and enterprise network design.
• Understanding of security and compliance standards, including NERC CIP, NIST SP 800-82, IEC 62443, ISO 27001, and PCI DSS.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, documentation, and project management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

• Network architecture experience within the utility, electrical, energy, or other critical infrastructure industries.
• Experience designing and implementing security solutions for operational technology (OT) or critical infrastructure environments.
• Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CISSP.
• Experience with hyperconverged infrastructure and enterprise network automation.
