Veterinary Technician - Daytime ICU

Fetch Specialty & Emergency Veterinary Centers is a family-owned veterinary hospital and we are seeking experienced Veterinary Technicians to join our ICU team in Brandon, Florida. We are passionate about delivering high-quality and compassionate care to pets during their most critical moments. As a Veterinary Technician in this fast-paced environment, you will work closely with a team of emergency veterinarians and support staff to provide urgent care to pets in need.

• Assess and monitor patients' vital signs and overall condition in an emergency and critical care setting
• Assist veterinarians with emergency procedures, including triage, wound care, and life-saving interventions
• Administer medications, treatments, and injections as prescribed by the veterinary team
• Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies required for emergency procedures
• Collect and process laboratory samples, including blood work and urinalysis
• Provide anesthesia monitoring for critical patients
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient care
• Communicate effectively with pet owners about their pets  conditions, treatments, and progress
• Support the team by keeping the workspace organized and well-stocked
• Work collaboratively with veterinarians, technicians, and support staff in a high-energy environment

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification as a Veterinary Technician (CVT, LVT, or RVT), preferred
