Blue Pearl Pet Hospital in Brandon, FL is seeking a full-time overnight Emergency Veterinarian to join our state-of-the-art emergency and specialty hospital in providing the highest standard of quality medicine for pets in our community. Those without ER experience (including new graduates) are encouraged to apply through our EmERge program.

About our State-of-the-Art-Facility in Brandon :

• We have been servicing the Brandon area, a suburb of Tampa Bay, since 2007.
• Our 6,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility is open 24 hours, seven days a week, 365 days a year, offering emergency care when pets and their families need it most.
• In addition to emergency medicine, our board-certified and board-eligible clinicians specialize in oncology, critical care, and surgery.
• With more than 10 veterinarians on staff, our specialists and emergency clinicians work together to provide a strong, collaborative atmosphere and a team-based approach to advanced care.
• Current on-site diagnostic capabilities include digital radiography, endoscopy, arthroscopy, and ultrasound.

• Some technicians are assigned to individual services, but all of them are cross trained to work on the emergency service or in the ICU.

• We have an internship and residency program and a team of experienced clinicians who are passionate about teaching. Resident surgery teaching rounds occur twice weekly.

What you need to excel at Blue Pearl

• DVM/VMD degree required.
• Completion of a rotating internship or residency in emergency and critical care preferred but not required.
• Current license to practice veterinary medicine in this state.
• Strong diagnostic and clinical skills, with the ability to make rapid and accurate assessments in emergency situations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate bedside manner.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
