We’re looking for music and pop culture fanatics to help create the best experience for our customers. As a Hot Topic Seasonal Key Holder, you’ll support the store leadership team in providing the best customer experience, ensuring that fellow fans can get the merch they love. You’ll use your fandom knowledge to help train new recruits and support your Store Manager in daily operations and meeting sales targets.

• Provide an amazing shopping experience that encourages customers to return, leveraging product knowledge and customer experience skills.
• Provide leadership support and help run the store when the Store Manager is unavailable.
• Understand the store sales plan and goals, and help drive sales by increasing key KPIs such as UPT and ADT.
• Cover assigned sales floor zones, maintain visual standards, and assist with opening and closing the store.
• Operate the register, process sales transactions, drive add-on sales, and communicate shortages or overages to the Store Manager.
• Assist with planogram changes including store map, wall, fixtures, and merchandising mix.
• Communicate fashion and music trend information to management and HQ partners.
• Work with Store Management to prevent theft and ensure proper loss-prevention practices.
• Support stockroom organization and store tidiness.
• Train and coach new Sales Associates to help them acclimate to the team.
• Perform any other activities as assigned by the Store Leader.

• Experience in a retail environment; passion for music and pop culture is a plus.
• Strong customer service and selling skills.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Collaborative and communicative skills with leadership qualities.
• Physical ability to stand and walk for scheduled hours, reach for merchandise, and move boxes up to about 50 pounds.
